ARCHITECT:

• Work with the Product Manager(s) to understand the requirements of the web solution.
• Propose the technology platform to be adopted. We expect you to champion the proposed technology solution by presenting the pros and cons of alternate options.
• Manage ALL aspects of the entire development process. You need not be an expert in all the aspects yourselves, but we expect you will bring to table the critical skills (technical and management) needed in this process.
• Manage the development team, which will include design and user interface specialists.

DEVELOPER:

• Develop the application, working in a team, but with independent responsibilities (which would include testing and maintenance)
• Any other task ancilliary to the process of web application development and roll-out.

Education & Skills:

1. B.S/M.S in Computer Science or related major, with proven experience/ability in executing Web applications.
2. LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) expertise is essential for the role.
3. The number of years of experience is less relevant that the ability to deliver.
4. Experience in the field of e-learning would be a BIG plus.
5. Ability to recommend best practices and support the recommended design etc with convincing arguments.
6. 100% commitment is essential.
7. Ability to multitask, prioritize, show initiative, and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.
8. Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead/coach/mentor developmentin teams.
9. Extensive knowledge of WEB 2.0 and all the updates/events in the world of Web technology.

Responsibilities:
