Executive- Logistics

Job Description

1. Sales Forecasting & MIS generation

Compilation of forecasting received from the field

Generation of reports and circulation to the concerned functional managers

2. Co-ordination for Imports & Exports

Ensuring the availability of packaging materials for imported stocks

Supervision & follow-up for re-packing of imported products within 7 to 10 days at CFAs

Co-ordination for movement of stocks and documents for exports to Sri Lanka

3. Co-ordination for Despatches

Co-ordination with transport agencies

Follow-up and track for movement of stocks from plant to locations like CFAs & IDTs

Tracking and monitoring the performance of transport agencies

Processing of bills under “centralized billing” on a fortnightly basis

Ensuring despatch of quarterly samples of imported products from Chennai CFA to Indore location

4. Co-ordination for Insurance Claims

Ensuring timely submission of claims by all CFAs

Co-ordination with Insurance company for timely receipt of claims

Ensuring that claims are settled to parties on a timely basis

5. Co-ordination for Road Permits

Ensuring availability of Road Permits for seamless movement of stocks

Co-ordinate for availability of BOPP tapes with CFAs

6. Preparation of MIS

Collation of near expiry data for products on a monthly basis and circulate to functional managers

Preparation of Stock Adjustment Notes analysis for every month

Updation of VI, stock transfer advice, generation of stock adjustment notes in EmPower

Education :    Any graduate, B.Com, B.Sc, M.Sc
