Job Description

KEY OBJECTIVES/DELIVERABLES:

Desired Profile

Designation: Statistical Analyst

Exp: : 0-0.6 Months

Location : :Chennai

Statistical trial analysis
Operate in collaboration with product team medical personnel, global health outcomes personnel, and possibly others to provide input to statistical analysis plans under the guidance of a senior statistician
Will assist in and eventually be accountable for understanding the statistical methods for data analysis, authoring the corresponding sections of the data analysis plan, and conducting the actual analysis once a reporting database is created
Will be expected to collaborate with data management and in implementing quality assurance plans
Will be expected to maintain currency with respect to SAS programming and statistical methodology, to maintain proficiency in applying new and varied methods, and to be competent in justifying methods selected
Communication of results and inferences
Will collaborate with other product team members to write reports and communicate results under the guidance of a project statistician
Will be responsible for assisting in the communication of study results via regulatory submissions, and manuscripts, as well as communicating one-on-one with key customers
May be asked to respond to regulatory queries under the supervision of a project statistician
Become familiar with relevant disease states in order to enhance the level of customer focus and collaboration
Ideally, the successful candidate will be eventually seen as a strong scientific contributor
Compliance with policies and procedures
Will perform work in full compliance with Lilly medical policies and procedures, including applicable department Instructional
Responsible for validation of single-use programs and for maintaining documentation for programs

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Working knowledge of statistics and substantial proficiency with statistical software (SAS)
