Quality Lead

Job Description

Hewlett-Packard is a Fortune 11 corporation which provides technology solutions to consumers, businesses and institutions globally. HP’s offerings span IT infrastructure, personal computing and access devices as well as, global services and other hardware and electronics products for consumers, enterprises and small and medium businesses.

Global Business Services offers Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services to its internal customers. Global Business Services (GBS) provides all kinds of transactional supports to its customer through various services lines e.g Procure to Pay, Acquire to Retire, Order to Cash, Financial & Accounting etc. Global quality team is working on various initiatives on cost optimization and value add within GBS. Global quality is looking for exceptionally talented individuals in Finance and Accounting service line.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake detailed process improvement studies as required across all F&A processes to identify opportunities for improved productivity.
Analysis of total operations cost to identify areas of cost optimization in F&A processes
Implement GOA Efficiency projects and its program management
Leads and or provides expertise to functional project teams and participates in cross functional initiatives
Lead process transformation initiatives as per Glide path for key processes in F&A service line
Support implementation of production planning program and audit programs
Develop and standardize sigma metrics across processes
Implement VSM, FMEA, SPC, and other LeanSigma tool as per need

Desired Profile

Minimum requirements:

Bachelor+MBA or Master degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or Production Management or Finance (or equivalent combination education or experience)
Certified black belt Working knowledge of DFSS roadmap
Strong analytical skills
Demonstrated success in Project Management.
Exposure to different improvement frameworks like six sigma, Lean is must
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft office tools like PowerPoint, Project, Excel and Access are critical for the job
Flexible approach to tackling projects
Good Team player
Good Communication / Presentation skills.
