Job Description
Rave is conducting a walk-ins at our office premises for all Software Engineers/ Senior Software Engineers & Tech Leads on October 27, 2008 between 9:30am to 4:00pm. The details are mentioned below:
We Need: Test Analysts & Sr. Test Analysts
TEST ANALYST MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
o Test Analst should have atelast 2years of relevant experience in Testing.
o Preparation and the efficient execution of test scenarios / test cases.
o To manage and progress test defects as per defect lifecycle
o To contribute to the improvement of the test processes and procedures.
o Demonstrable ability to grasp the domain ramifications and software application working to test and break the application.
o Correctly Reporting the information found during testing in a unbiased manner
TEST ANALYST PERSON SPECIFICATION
o 2-3 plus years experience of working as a Test professional within an IT testing environment
o Experience of testing Windows based Applications; Web Applications and Client/Server environments
o Practical experience of formal manual testing methods and testing techniques.
o Knowledge of test management tools, defect management tools and other tools to help testing carry-out
o Automation testing skills especially on QTP & Rational Robot will be strongly preferred.
o Creative and sharp with attention to detail and meticulous documentation skills of testing and results.
o Fluent in English speaking and excellent communication skills.
o Clear understanding of software development lifecycle and testing?s role within it.
o Team Player with a systematic approach to problem solving and workload management.
