The Walkin will be held at Pune.
All position will be based at our solutions / delivery centres at TCS Pune.

Eligibility Criteria

We are currently looking for Team Members / Team Leaders / Project Leaders / Project Managers

3-7 years of relevant IT experience with a reputed Software / Consulting Organisation.

Microsoft Technologies :

ASP.Net and C# with SQL Server

Testing :

Testers with experience in automation using C#

SQL Developers :

Experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 with good knowledge of T-SQL
Hands on SQL Server Integration Services data flow tasks (SCD Transformation, Fuzzy Lookup, Merge Join, etc.)
Experience in SQL Server Reporting Services 2005

SQL DBA :

Log Shipping concept and overview of its architecture, monitoring
Database backup and restore / types of backups and options, performance tuning, replication types / models
DB Monitor / Cubes Processing monitoring
OLAP / OLAP Errors as a part of Incident Management
User and roles creations / assignments
What is a page / extent / indexes / types of indexes
Types of Locks and Lock escalations
SQL Server Authentication and DB Security Roles, installations and settings
Normalization Rules
SQL Profiler usages
Determining Query Execution plan
New feature of SQL Server 2005
Clustering services and types of Clusterings

IIS Administration :

Concepts of IIS 6.0 (eg. Web sites setting, V-roots, application pool concept)
IIS installation and configuration, configuration backup and restore, administration in general
Security configuration (restricting access, enabling access)
Concepts of clustering
Windows NLB (Network Load Balancing)
IIS error codes (400, 500, etc)
IIS trouble shooting (eg. using IIS logs / log parsing, Event Viewer, etc)
Certificate installation and configuration (for HTTPS)
MIME types Settings

Windows System Administration :

Application Patch Management (Production and pre-production environment)
Windows Server 2000 / 2003 - Administration
Understanding of Active directory design, configuration, implementation and management
Diagnosing server and desktop issues
Antivirus management
Desktop firewall management
Group policy design, configuration and management
DNS, DHCP, WINS, Print server design and configuration
Backup configuration and restoration
Server Hardening
Asset tracking
Automation of task using Windows scripting (if possible)
OS Upgrades
Concepts of Clustering and Cluster Management

MOM Administration and MP development :

Designing, implementation and maintenance of MOM Server
Deploying MOM agents
Monitoring servers using agents
Monitoring agent less server
Database Backup
Generating reports
Tracking MOM server usage
Creation of custom Management Pack (MP) will be added advantage
Knowledge of MOM scripting
Familiar with SCOM (Hands on experience will be an advantage)

Incident And Problem Management :
Outage / crisis management
Generating reports
ITIL certification is mandatory
Familiar with Windows infrastructure environment and datacenter monitoring activities

Full Time Graduates / Post Graduates in:
BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MSc / MCA / MCM / MS
CA / ICWA / MBA
PGDIT (2 years full time & approved by AICTE)

Special consideration will be given to B.Sc. / BCA / Diploma holders with 3 years of relevant functional / technical experience.

Consistent academic records Class X onwards (Minimum 50%)
Candidates interviewed by us in the last 6 months are not eligible
Candidates with more than 2 years break in their academic / professional career will not be considered
