Job Description

The resource will be responsible for web-based application testing with a focus on DB updates and report generation.

Other tasks involved include: stability and capacity performance testing, setting up test environment, creation of test cases, log and track defects to closure as per industry standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Engineers/ MCA’s with3 to 5 years of test experience with proven ability and good knowledge of QA and Configuration Mgmt aspect of software products.

Should have experience of load and stress testing of server side components like web services using any load testing tools. WAPT, OpenSTA, Load Runner. Stability and Capacity Performance Testing.

Should be good at creating test cases, and logging and tracking defects to closure.

Should have working knowledge of using databases (Oracle/SQL Server 2000) and working knowledge of Linux OS.
