Job Description

As an Oracle Applications Functional consultant, the responsibilities include effective delivery/implementation of oracle Manufacturing modules of Oracle Release 11i e-Business suite, in order to prov ide an integrated information system solution. Position responsibilities include: Facilitate and actively participate in all phases of the Implementation cycle, to include Requirements Gathering & Analysis, System Design and Development, Testing, and Implementation. - Assist clients in mapping and streamlining/reengineering business practices to implement various Oracle modules, which includes integrating the Oracle Applications with existing client systems, using standardized implementation methodology including reports specification development and deployment. - Assist, coach, and mentor other engagement team members on issues they may encounter in the design and implementation of solutions. - Responsible for developing and adhering to engagement team project standards to ensure the delivery of quality client deliverables. - Interface with middle and senior level executives at the client site to develop client ‘buy in’ and support, develop business implementation strategies and a ddress specific issues that may arise during an Oracle implementation. - Actively participate in the troubleshooting phase once the product has gone ‘live’.

Desired Profile

Candidate should ideally have a degree in BE/BTech/ME/Mtech from a reputed University. - Candidate should have 3-4 years of working experience in the Discrete Manufacturing Industries and should hav e atleast 2 full cycle implementations with extensive experience in Oracle discrete manufacturing modules (BOM,MRP,WIP,Quality, etc) and EAM module. - Excellent verbal and written communication sk ills., Ability to work as part of a team, yet work independently on complex problems. - Experience working in an Oracle Financials and SCM environment.
